EU in my Region – take part in the campaign!

The European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy launched its annual campaign “Europe in My Region”, which highlights the EU-funded projects and celebrates the difference they make throughout Europe. The campaign will be open until 31 August 2018, and it consists of a Photo Contest, a Blog Contest and a Quiz.

Please note that any permanent EU resident or resident of a pre-accession country (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey) who is 18 or over, is eligible to participate in the contests.

Detailed information and rules for each segment of the campaign are elaborated on the linked web pages:

The awards for the winners of the contests are the following:

  • Photo Contest “Europe in My Region” – the 30 winning pictures will be compiled into an exhibition travelling around Europe.
  • Blog Contest “Europe in My Region” – the three winners will be invited to join a 3-week tailor-made full immersion training programme on EU communications. They will experience the work of a communication department in an EU institution, in a communication agency and in a media outlet covering the Brussels sphere.  All the expenses including travel and accommodation in Brussels are paid.
  • Quiz “Europe in My Region” – a basket full of regional delicacies from all over Europe will be awarded every two weeks throughout the duration of the campaign.

For any questions, contestants are advised to contact: regio-infopub@ec.europa.eu.
