Update: Selected projects within the Strategic Call for Proposals under contracting

Strategic Call for Proposals of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme resulted in five projects selected for funding which are currently undergoing the contracting process:

Priority Axis 1 – Improving the cross-border water management and risk prevention systems

Action 1.1. Water management and protection against extreme weather conditions:

  • HUSRB/1601/11/0001 BABECA - The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal
  • HUSRB/1601/11/0004 WASIDCA - Water supply and water-infrastructure development  in the boundary  catchment areas


Priority Axis 2 – Decreasing the bottlenecks of cross-border traffic

Action 2.1 Border crossing points, roads and bicycle roads:

  • HUSRB/1601/21/0003 Kübekháza – Rabe - Development of a Road Border Crossing at Kübekháza (HU) - Rabe (SRB) area

Action 2.2 Improving public transport services and planning railway lines:

  • HUSRB/1601/22/0002 Dream Railway - Elaboration of Technical Documentation of Subotica-Baja Railway Line


Priority Axis 3: Encouraging cooperation in tourism and cultural heritage preservation

Action 3.1 Tourist products, services and attractions based on cultural and natural heritage:

  • HUSRB/1601/31/0005 ColourCoop – Colourful Cooperation


Selected projects, including their title, summary, name of the Lead Beneficiary and the amount of allocated funding will be announced on the website of the Programme, in the section Projects, right after the contracting process is completed.

    RegioStars Awards 2018 campaign recognizing the most innovative and inspiring EU-funded projects
    The projects which are being implemented within the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme and the projects implemented in the previous programme (2007-2013) – IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia which were co-financed after 1 January 2008 are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted by 15 April 2018 via online platform.

    The European Commission launches a public consultation on EU funds in the area of cohesion
    The European Commission (the Commission) has launched today a public consultation on EU funds in the area of cohesion, with the goal to collect the views of all interested parties on how to make the most of every euro of the EU budget. The consultation in a form of an online questionnaire, available in 23 EU languages, is open until 8 March 2018 to all citizens and stakeholders interested in Cohesion policy.

    Second Call for Proposals – Selected Projects within the Priority Axis 3 and Priority Axis 4
    Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia Programme held a meeting on 13 November 2017 in Kecskemét, Hungary, and selected projects for funding in the Priority Axes 3 and 4 submitted within the Second Call for Proposals.
